A clean build for classic window experts

Bristol and Bath Sash Windows is a specialist business focused on the supply and installation of traditional sash windows throughout the Bristol and Bath area. With a growing client base and a commitment to craftsmanship, they needed a website that better reflected the quality of their service, modern, professional, and easy to navigate on all devices.

Previously reliant on a generic website builder, the existing site lacked both flexibility and mobile responsiveness. As a freelance designer and developer, I was brought in to deliver a complete redesign and rebuild from the ground up.

I designed a clean, contemporary user interface that showcased their work while remaining accessible and fast-loading across all screen sizes. The site was built using SvelteKit for optimal performance and interactivity, paired with a custom headless CMS to give the team full control over content without overwhelming them with unnecessary complexity.

A key part of the project also involved setting up Google Analytics 4 (GA4), as there had been no tracking or insight tools in place previously. This gave the client their first clear view into how users were interacting with the site, allowing them to make informed decisions based on traffic sources, engagement patterns, and conversion metrics.

Mobile optimisation was a focus throughout, ensuring potential customers could explore services, browse galleries, and make enquiries with ease, whether at home or on-site.

The result is a future-proof, SEO-friendly platform that’s as well-crafted as the windows it represents, supporting the business's credibility and helping generate new leads in a competitive market.
